Yields on Kindur portfolios are determined by the asset mix in addition to the funds selected. To calculate the estimated yield we use the trailing 12 month distribution yield (this is last 12 months of dividends and capital gains distributions, excluding return on capital distributions, divided by net asset value (NAV) of the fund).
As of June 3 2019, our 60% stock / 40% bond portfolio excluding REITs and Muni funds for taxable accounts had an estimated yield of 2.36% and our portfolio with the same asset allocation for IRA accounts had an estimated yield of 2.48%. Dividends are typically paid quarterly for equity ETFs and monthly for bond ETFs
Yields are expressed in annual terms and are based on the historical dividend and capital gains distributions, excluding return on capital distributions, over the trailing 12 month period ending June 3, 2019 for the individual funds in each of the portfolios, as reported on vanguard.com, ishares.com, ssga.com, and schwab.com. These figures do not include Kindur’s Advisory Fee or execution costs such as those resulting from bid/ask spreads. Past performance is not indicative of future results and does not guarantee that any particular result will be achieved. The yields for Kindur portfolios will change over time as economic and market conditions change.
